Safaricom's new CEO Peter Ndegwa has taken over the reins from 01 April, becoming the first indigenous Kenyan CEO of the telecom firm. Ndegwa takes over from founding CEO Michael Joseph, who made a comeback in an acting capacity in July 2019 after the death of Bob Collymore on 01 July.
